Hi there;

It’s Easter today. I’ve seen a lot of signs and posters celebrating this event. He is Risen! Best comeback of all time! Maybe it’s because of where I live but I always equate Easter with actual Spring. I’m in Zone 6 if you’re into gardening so even though Spring started on March 20th this year we still had some freezing overnight temperatures and slight snow accumulations. Needless to say the “first day of Spring” doesn’t mean much to me. I won’t uncover my outside plants until about now. So for me Easter is the beginning of Spring. It’s the start of new things, renewed energy and focus. With this viewpoint I decided that today would be a good day to start this blog. I’ve never blogged before; this is a new journey for me.

My goal with this blog is to create a positive place to cover a variety of topics, thus the “open tabs.” You’re possibly reading this and wondering who I am. I am a mom, a wife, a middle age female. I love most styles of music. I love The Beatles and Duran Duran in particular. I enjoy art but am not an artist. I dabble in photography a bit. I’m not a fan of politics – it brings out the ugliness in most people, so I don’t plan on bringing it up. I like to read – lately I’ve been reading a lot of Estelle Ryan, Christopher Cartwright, however, my favourite book is Pride & Prejudice. And for the record the Kiera Knightly/ Matthew Macfadyen movie is the best version. I enjoy sports but am not athletically inclined. I literally walk into a room and forget what I came in there for … on the daily. I can pretty much only empty the dryer while streaming a show. I start one project and then get called away to do something else OR start another task while waiting for the original task to “need” me again and then the next thing you know I have 5 projects going and can’t finish any of them.

  • Hi there! I’m still getting this place arranged. Please be patient with me.
